£520.00 daily rate plus expenses (Outside IR35 opportunities available)
Must be available to start next week

4 on 4 off DAYS

The Profile
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department on an interim basis.
The successful candidate will have:
This is a hands on engineering role
A recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification
Proven experience within food manufacturing or a process-driven production environment
Strong knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems and implementation
Experience managing quality standards and reducing waste
A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Interim Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:
Providing strong leadership and man-management to a small team (up to 6 direct reports and 10 indirect, including contractors)
Managing on-site projects and contractor activity
Distributing workload effectively across the team
First and second-line management responsibilities
Conducting staff appraisals and performance management
Delivering and reporting on KPIs including Planned Maintenance, Health & Safety, and Quality
Providing technical leadership and promoting a proactive maintenance culture to prevent equipment failure
